
William H. Sparrenberger, 94, of Indianapolis went home to be with the Lord on July 1, 2016. He was born on June 26, 1922 in Evansville, IN to Henry William and Margaret (Oswald) Sparrenberger.
A much beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, he was a patriot who lived his life with the highest standards and loved his family, friends, God and country. He was the President of Beta Theta Pi at Indiana University where he received a JD from IU Law School in 1950. He flew B-17s in WW II, served as deputy prosecutor and Assistant U.S. Attorney; served as Executive Secretary to Governor Handley, and founded law firm Sparrenberger, Duvall, Tabbert & Lalley.
Survivors include wife Shirley (Kennedy) Sparrenberger; three daughters Susan, Kathy, Cynthia; grandchildren Kolbi, Adam, Megan, Jon Paul, Peter; great-grandchildren Matthew and Zachary.
Preceded in death by: two brothers Charles and Hank Sparrenberger.
Graveside service Wednesday July 6, 2016, at Washington Park North Cemetery at 1pm
